What is the Linux System Admin course?

The Linux System Admin course is a short online course that teaches you the foundations of Linux Operating System. It is currently only open to military members (previous and current serving) and their spouses.

Throughout the WYWM Linux Foundations course, you’ll be introduced to the Linux operating system, including setting up a Linux environment on your system and the operation and navigation of Linux through both the CLI (command-line interface) and GUI (graphical user interface).

The skills taught throughout this course will assist you in preparing to follow a career path in Linux Systems Administration and also one of the WYWM Cyber Pathways.

This course is for individuals interested in pursuing a career path in Linux Systems Administration. Basic knowledge of general computer fundamentals are beneficial but not required.

The Linux System Admin course is currently only available to the military community (previous and current serving members and their spouses).

There is no start date for the course, so you can start at any time!
