For Managers: Updating your employees' team, occupation and manager details

Learn how to move your employees between teams or assign them to a different manager

 

Use the interactive walkthrough above, or follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the employees page in the left-hand navigation pane
  2. Click the employee's row to access their details and make changes

 

3. To move employees to a different team:

    1. Select the team/Department dropdown field
    2. Choose from the list of teams predefined by your organisation (Note: Moving them to a new team may change who their default manager is)

4. To change an employee's manager:
    1. Select the Direct manager dropdown field
    2. Choose from the list of managers (Only managers that are assigned within this employee's branch of the organisation will appear in this list. Reach out to your Admin or WYWM  Account manager for help updating this)

Tip: The direct manager can be changed anytime to support secondments or temporary positions.

 

5. To change an employee's occupation:

    1. Update the role using the Occupation drop down. in the career section. 

Tip: If you don't see the correct role - reach out to your WYWM Account Manager.

 

6. Use the Dashboard page to review and validate the changes you just made.

    1. Navigate to the Dashboard page in the left-hand navigation pane
    2. Use the Team/Department in the top of the screen to filter to the team you're looking for
    3. You can also filter the dashboard "by Manager" to see exactly which manager is responsible for each employee.
    4. The employee's row within the dashboard should display the correct team, manager and occupation
